Munko Gets a Facelift

My resident artist‘s been hard at work creating the first in a series of Munko revamp posters and promo artwork that will be trickling into my material over the next year. In case you haven’t already seen his girlfriend, pop over and have a look at pure red cyberpunk sexy.

THIS! IS! LEDERHOSEN!

Producing dubstep and recording “Waking Up”

I met Ruxandra Teodorescu through one of ADNs friends. She’s the singer in Hannya and when we started working on this track together, we never expected it to turn out so good.

The vocals were recorded through a TC-Helicon Voicetone just as a test, but the whole thing came together so well (including the vocals) that we decided to leave everything as it is. There’s nothing more than a bit of reverb and some delay on the voice, but there’s practically no further processing aside from what I’ve already mentioned. The wobbly bass is a patch I regularly use in my live set and most of the wobbles are played by hand (aftertouch pressure on the keyboard controlling filter frequency), and there’s nothing incredibly special about the rest, proving the saying that “Less is More”.

Enjoy.

Video Day Seven

And the end of Video Week is here. Enjoy some chill-out bells with “The Curious Case of the Hovering Mouse”, the only track on my EP with no quotes.

Video Day Six

I particularly love the quotes in this one. The “Invisible Man” one gave me the chills when I first heard it. But then again I do have this unhealthy fascination with Z-movies and such. Enjoy.
